                    HIGHLIGHTS  Mozilla claims that YouTube loads 5x slower on Firefox in comparison to Chrome.  Mozilla's Technical Program Manager Chris Peterson has claimed this on his Twitter handle. It might seem surprising that an executive from Mozilla said on Twitter that YouTube   runs five times slower on Firefox than it does on Google Chrome . But the news also came with an explanation. Chris Peterson, technical program manager at Mozilla , said Wednesday the issue is due to YouTube’s API, or application programming interface, which uses a deprecated shadow DOM API. This makes YouTube run slower on other browsers like Firefox and Microsoft  Edge, but not Google Chrome. The API is part of a YouTube redesign from about a year ago, but the problem persists. It also brings up questions about Google’s ability to sway users to use more of its products.    

From August 1, money transfers within same account or UPI ID - where payer and payee account are same, will be blocked by NPCI.             National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has decided to stop all digital payments within the same account from its UPI platform in order to curb fake or artificial transactions done to get cashbacks. As per the NPCI, the practice has been banned because of three types of money transfer — transactions being done between same UPI accounts, payments made from the UPI ID to the account number, but the underlying account remains the same, and sending money to another UPI ID but connected to the same bank account. The prime reason behind the clampdown is to stop customers who make transactions within their account for getting cashback offers.     Source-MoneyControl
